Genting Apps Launch

17 Januari 2013 aritu aku follow Cik Hanis  pergi event dekat Wisma Genting dekat stesen monorail Raja Chulan tu. Well, basically event ni untuk celebrate 100,000 Genting apps download. Aku pun tak pernah download and pakai apps ni biar kat tablet aku mahupun dekat ipongg aku yang baru tu. So sampai je sana aku terus download apps ni sebab nak try and aku boleh kata yang the app is very amazing that semua important info kita boleh tahu as well as book any room simply by just using the app. Thumbs Up!

Event ni sangat mendapat sambutan yang rata-rata dari background blogger and press. Memang overwhelming sambutannya. Aku yang agak-agak newbie gi event macam ni agak terpinga-pinga jugak la kan. Main event petang tu is informal press conference dengan 3 orang big gunners dari genting. Diorang ni la yang responsible dalam melancarkan apps ni. Those 3 are Executive Vice President, Dato’ Kevin Sim together with its Senior Vice President of E-Service, Mr Thomas Ng and Vice President of Marketing, Mr Chow Wei Heng, Resorts World Genting. Dalam conference tu, they shared their digital journey from starting line sampai la sekarang. Aku sangat interested sebab aku nampak flow system development dia macam yang aku belaja dalam Accounting Information System kat universiti aku. hahahaha. And sudah pastinya develop this new system is never been easy so congrates to RWG for the amazing achievement.

Daripada yang aku paham outbreak kepada 100 000 downloads ni, 1/3 daripada pengguna android and 2/3 daripada pengguna iOS. Maybe because apps ni dilancarkan untuk pengguna iOS dulu then baru android. That's y amount dia berlainan. Windows 8 user usah ragu usah gentar, Genting will probably launch the apps for windows 8 probably within the first or second quarter of the year so wait hah,. Rata-rata apps user semuanya customer Genting and not only in Malaysia but also dari Singapore, china and so on. So boleh kira global achievement jugak la app ni.
